Bottlenosed Dolphins are one of the most popular and revered animals indigenous to Florida. They live abundantly in coastal waters.

Adult dolphins can reach a length of 12 ft, and weigh well over 1000 lbs. The dolphin has long been studied for it's extremely high intelligence, and has been known to actually feed in conjunction with human fishing activities.

Incredibly atheletic swimmers, dolphins are popular in water shows at sea life parks.

Dolphins are protected only in U.S. waters and are naturally susceptible to pollution, with one their biggest hazards being trapped in fishing nets.
